Tess did not belong to me. She came to live with me when she was almost 10 years old due to her owners work commitments, overseas. Originally, I was suppose to be looking after her for 12 months, but she ended up staying for a lot longer. We had a lot of great times together, she got on with the rest of my dogs quite well and she loved her walks and playing ball. And what a good eater, she was.
I looked after her just like if she was my own dog. Always taking her out for daily walks and she loved to play ball. I gave her a warm & cosy place to sleep inside the house together with my other dogs and fed her the very best food I could buy. She lived like a Princess at my place. I often got comments of people at the shows which knew her from before of how well & happy she looked and that she was better off now that she was living with me.
Time went by, Tess was growing older but her owners had decided to stay overseas for longer than originally planned , I guess work commitments must have been priority. Well, they say all good things must come to an end, so one night beautiful Tess passed away in her sleep. Unfortunately, she never got to see her original family ever again, but I really don't think she minded that much, as she seemed to be having so many good times at my place.
I hope her owners appreciate what I have done for Tess and how well I have looked after her right up to the last minutes of her life.
I would like to thank her for giving me her great son " Chrisnat Excalibur" CDX ET BSCL1 Multi Excellent (Tristan). He is a very precious and special boy, who has had many achievements in show and obedience. Without her, I would have never had the privilege of sharing my life with such a magnificent dog.
In the photos below you can see Tess with her son Tristan and her grand daughter Roxie as well as her great grandkids Enox , Rexi, Dolly, Axis & Bella.
GOOD BYE TESS WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU - AND YOU WILL LEAVE ON THROUGH YOUR PROGENY.
